God commands us to love God and love one another. He calls for us to show compassion and mercy to those in need, treat others as we would like to be treated, seek justice for the oppressed, give generously to those less fortunate, pray for guidance and understanding, strive for peace and unity with our neighbors, and share our faith in Jesus Christ with the world. These are just a few examples of ways that God has asked us to lead lives of obedience and righteousness.
